Calacas LLC ("Calacas," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information when you visit calacas.store, purchase products, book or request services, create an account, communicate with us, or otherwise interact with Calacas online (collectively, the "Services").

By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services. This Policy does not cover third-party websites or services that have their own privacy policies.

  • Payment information. Payments are generally processed by third-party payment providers. We may receive limited payment details, such as payment status, card brand, and the last four digits of a card, but we do not need to store full card numbers.
  • Appointment, consultation, or service information you submit, including preferences, messages, photographs, or other details needed to respond to your request.
  • Communications, reviews, survey responses, contest entries, and other content you choose to provide.
  • Marketing preferences and consent records, including your choices about email or text messages.

Information collected automatically

When you use the Services, we and our providers may automatically collect device and usage information, including your IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, dates and times of access, shopping-cart activity, and interactions with emails or advertisements.

We may use cookies, pixels, software development kits, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, measure performance, prevent fraud, and support advertising. You can manage cookies through your browser and, when available, through our cookie-preference tools. Disabling some cookies may affect site functionality.

Information from other sources

We may receive information from ecommerce, booking, payment, shipping, analytics, advertising, social-media, fraud-prevention, and other business partners, as permitted by law.

3. How We Use Information

We may use information to:

  • Provide, personalize, maintain, and improve the Services.
  • Process orders, payments, returns, refunds, deliveries, appointments, and customer-service requests.
  • Create and manage accounts and remember your preferences.
  • Send transactional notices, service updates, and—where permitted—promotional email or text messages.
  • Measure site performance, understand customer activity, and improve products, services, and advertising.
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, misuse, security incidents, or other harmful activity.
  • Comply with legal obligations, enforce our agreements, and protect our rights and the safety of others.
  • Carry out another purpose disclosed when information is collected or with your consent.

4. Text Messages and Email Marketing

If you opt in to marketing texts or emails, Calacas may send promotions and updates using the contact information you provide. Consent to marketing is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency may vary, and message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of marketing texts by replying STOP and may opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link. We may still send non-marketing messages about your orders, account, appointments, or safety matters.

5. How We Disclose Information

We may disclose information in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers: vendors that support website hosting, ecommerce, bookings, payments, shipping, customer service, communications, analytics, advertising, IT, security, and fraud prevention.
  • Business partners: partners involved in a product, service, promotion, integration, or request you choose to use.
  • Advertising and analytics partners: providers that help measure activity or show relevant advertising. Their use of cookies or similar technologies may be considered "sharing" or targeted advertising under some privacy laws.
  • Legal and safety purposes: when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process; respond to regulators; enforce agreements; investigate fraud or security concerns; or protect Calacas, our customers, or others.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of our business or assets.
  • At your direction, with your consent, or as otherwise disclosed when information is collected.

We may disclose aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably identify you, subject to applicable law.

6. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

We may work with analytics and advertising providers to understand use of the Services and measure or personalize advertising. These providers may collect information about your activity over time and across websites or services. Where required, we will provide choices regarding non-essential cookies and targeted advertising. You may also use browser controls or recognized industry opt-out tools, although those choices may be browser- or device-specific.

7. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

You may update account information, unsubscribe from marketing, manage cookie settings, or contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information. Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may also have rights to receive a portable copy, limit certain uses of sensitive information, opt out of targeted advertising or certain sales/sharing, and appeal a decision on a privacy request.

To submit a request, email Calacas923@gmail.com. Please state that your message is a "Privacy Request" and describe the right you wish to exercise. We may need to verify your identity and request details before responding. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authorization and identity verification. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

8. California Privacy Notice

California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, if and to the extent it applies to Calacas. The categories of personal information we may collect are described in Section 2; the business or commercial purposes are described in Section 3; and the categories of recipients are described in Section 5. We retain each category only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, and dispute-resolution needs.

Where applicable, you may request to opt out by emailing Calacas923@gmail.com with the subject "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information." We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.

California's "Shine the Light" law may allow qualifying residents to request information about certain disclosures for third parties' direct-marketing purposes. Requests may be submitted using the contact information below.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.

10. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, complete transactions, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, and comply with law. Retention periods vary according to the type of information and the reason it was collected.

11. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials and for promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized account use.
